I understand that this could be done directly, however should the Radarcape be used in substitution of the dongle, feeding the Rpi?. The Radarcape is in transit, so I would be extremely grateful to understand how it should be set up with regard to feeding the PP network. I have now decided to upgrade to a Radarcape unit, so after many hours trawling through this forum, I remain a little confused. More recently, due to an initial PC problem, decided to go the Dongle + Rpi & GPS card + Dump1090 & Ppup to run without the need for a PC to be on continuously.
